Bernd Zimmermann is Field Applications Manager at Sensirion, a leading manufacturer of digital micro-sensors and systems. In this capacity, he currently leads the technical support provided to Sensirion’s customers in the Americas. Prior to joining Sensirion, he held positions of increasing responsibility at Emerson, Corning, Alcoa Fujikura, and Siemens primarily in the areas of R&D and new product development. He has authored numerous publications, and is listed as inventor on 15+ sensor-related patents. Mr. Zimmermann holds a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Georgia Tech and a Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Virginia Tech.
